This vehicle DOES NOT have a title. It was last registered in New Mexico and was never titled back in those years. They just did not title motor vehicles back in those years. Our State threw out all paperwork for these old units a few years ago.
Ironicallythe last known owner was Dennis Hopper's Brother. Easy Rider fame!This truck was built for the US Army. Hence the 16,000 Gross Vehicle Weight rating.
It was last driven about 8 months ago. It moves. It stops.
This is a project. Needs all glass. Upholstery. Tires are junk. Brakes will need more attention.
Engine has been upgraded and is 12 volt. There is a temporary fuel tank installed.
Sounds like an intake valve is not seating. The valves have not been adjusted.
New water pump. Starter has been rebuilt. Water was drained for the winter. Has battery.
The ONLY rust is on the rear lower corners of the cab. There are after market pieces available.
There are new rear taillights. New wood in the bed.
