1988 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS Project
1988 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS Description
Bought this 1988 Chevy Monte Carlo Super Sport as a project car to repaintand have fun with. The 350 engine that was in the car broke a connecting rod shortly after getting it off the trailer. The remnants of the removed enginecome with the car.Good things include an Edelbrock aluminum intake, headers, chrome valve covers, Turbo 400 automatic transmission, ratchet shifter, and the 3.73limited slip rear end. Wheels are 15".Body is really in decent condition for this era car that hadn't been shelteredits whole life.RPO sticker is still on the underside of the trunk lid. Clear Georgia title.
Bad stuff:
*Engine blown and out of car*Windshield and dash cracked*Spray can primer partially covering body. Driver's side has been sanded to show original paint.*Center console and headliner gone.*Upper corners of front bumper cover torn (easily repairable) becauseprevious owner didn't take the effort to align the front fenders after thefront clip had been removed for the engine/transmission swap.*The front fender extensions had the rear edges worn off as a result of prior owner running oversized wheels/tires. Original damaged units in the trunk.
While the car is rough around the edges, 1988 was the last of this style carand is very desirable. Parts alone for these can be very expensive.Car is located in Nahunta, Georgia. Deposit of $500 required within 24 hoursof auctions end via PayPal.I may be able to assist with delivery.
