1953 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Description

I am a mortician and took the car in on a funeral account. It was purchased new in 1953 and went to that lady’s son went she got to a point of bad health. It then when to his widow and son when he died in 1999. In 2014 I got the car. It is NOT a hot rod or street rod. It’s a very solid 62 year old car that looks very good for its age. No rust, loor pans are solid, oors work better then new cars, pot light still works. We fixed the brakes and replaced the gas tank and tuned it up, urrs like a kitten.

I was told it was repainted when the family moved to town from a farm. There are some chips on the front end. Seat covers were put on when it was new, nd they are still on with very little wear. It has power steering and a Power Glide transmission.
