This is one of the nicest Chevy truck from this era you will see anywhere, period.
1976 C30 converted to a Shortbed 4x4.
454 big block just rebuilt with 500 miles on it. 6 in rough country lift on 35's. New pioneer radio and interior is in good shape. If you completely re did the interior this would be a show truck. The body needs nothing!
New paint job less than a year old and looks like a million bucks. Note that some of the images were before I washed it so keep that in mind.
Rust free. Body straight as an arrow.
Vehicle History - I bought this in Fort Wayne Indiana from a man who restored vehicles. He restored this vehicle for his sons but they didn't like how big it was, and trust me it is big. He sold it to me so he could finish restoring a barricuda he was deep into. So all the information about the conversion is from what he told me.
He found the C30 in his dads barn and restored the cab from it and shortened the frame. He bought a 1500 shortbed and suspension from south carolina, absolutely rust free bed. So the front and rear end are 1500. Paint was done right before I bought it.
It does not have air or heat. It is also full time 4WD. I take the front driveshaft out of it and ratchet back the floor shifter to stay in 2WD. If its not ratcheted back it would kick out. This was the cheapest way to have the vehicle not in full time 4WD. I and the previous owner never off roaded in it so 4WD was used rarely but works great. To be able to go between 2WD and 4WD without adding/removing the driveshaft you would need to use a conversion kit on the transmission and add locking hubs. Added bluetooth radio/CD player as well.
Slight hairline crack on roof please see picture. Interior is in decent shape. Fuel cap is in back of truck bed to give the side a clean look. I added a horn and fixed the fog lights. No side view mirrors again for a clean look. Powder coated bumpers. Clean and clear KY title.
Overall its an amazing truck and is a lot of fun. You get ALOT of attention, not exaggerating, anytime you go to a gas station or to the store expect someone to ask you about it. While driving you will get all kinds of honks and thumbs ups, the attention it gets is insane.
Any questions feel free to ask.
