1955 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Description

4 sale is a complete 1955 chevy 2dr Sedan with 53,000 mile from Ohio. The car has beendisassembled for 20 yrs. The parts missing are the bumpers, the rear bumper brackets and the gas tank. The dash wiring is in good condition with all of the switches attached. The seats are complete including the lower end pieces and moldings and new seat tracks, but will need recovering. all of the glass and door parts are also there.

Here is the good:the doors, hood and deck lid are in good condition with no rust out or fat edges visible. The front fenders are in good condition with exception of the headlamp "eyebrow are". The Stainless trim is in good condition with no dent or bends and complete (except1 door spear missing). Most of the body is untouched except the quarter patch and some priming.

The bad: the passenger floor compartment, the rear of the trunk floor and brace, The right quarte, the outer w/housings and the rear pan should also be replaced. The heater and wiper motor and the 6cylinder motor are disassembled.
If you can install replacement panel, this is a good car for you at a reasonable price as the metal parts needed are available for 2 to 3 thousand dollars. I personally would replace both quarter and make it easier to work on the wheel well area.

I have an signed Ohio title, but the man died before completing the transaction. A title application will cost about $200 in Ohio.
