1956 GMC 100 Shortbed Big back window!
1956 Chevrolet Other Pickups Description
1956 GMC 100 pickup. Shortbed 1/2 ton with the rare big back window! Has a 281 straight six engine and 4 speed manual transmission. The engine is very healthy. It starts right up and runs smooth. The transmission shifts excellently. Lots of life left on both. Drum brakes all around. They do work like they are supposed to. This truck is a driver. It looks great going down the road but on close inspection it has numerous flaws. If you are extremely detail oriented this truck is not for you. This truck is for someone who doesn't mind flaws and enjoys a good cruiser. This truck has rust in the floors and wheel wells. It also has body filler. The truck is complete. Just needs the lights hooked up to make it a regular driver. Runs, drives and stops very well. This is a 60 year old truck and it handles like it. Brand new wheels and tires. Full tread on it. Bench seat has a tear in the driver seat and is taped closed but the filling is good and it's functional. This a fun driver you don't have to worry about beating up. Drive train is excellent.
Clean and clear title in hand.
Possibly willing to end listing early for a buy it now offer.
You are absolutely welcome to come check it out before bidding. No warranty express or implied. Vehicle is sold "as-is". $500 non-refundable deposit is due at end of auction. If not received in 48 hours I will relist the truck. This is a classic truck and they are getting more rare by the day. This one is far from perfect but it still has a lot of joy left to give the world. These trucks are worth a ton of money when restored nicely. This truck gets tons of looks, waves and compliments. It's a good deal but obviously priced low to show that it has various flaws. If you have zero feedback please contact me before bidding or I could possibly cancel your bid.
