The gas tank appears original, rust and damage free, coated with POR 15 black sealer. Both rear quarter panels appear original, correct replacements rust and damage free. Both doors appear rust and damage free, fit and operate correctly. Both front fenders appear original, rust and damage free, fit correctly. The hood is the optional Z28 high rise style, rust and damage free, fits and operates correctly, painted and detailed in the body colour on the inner panel. It is also equipped with painted semi gloss black lower front spoiler in good condition.
The trunk lid is original, rust and damage free, fitted with an optional Z28 rear mounted spoiler. The inner panel is painted and detailed in the body colour. The trunk floor pans appear original, rust and damage free, painted with the correct speckle paint. It is also equipped with a removable correct trunk replacement mat.Both the front and rear suspension retain the basic design with the addition of aftermarket performance parts including energy urethane bushings. The front suspension is equipped with aftermarket QA1 coil over shock absorbers. The rear suspension is equipped with replacement leaf springs and Bilstein shock absorbers and a rebuilt 3:73 posi traction centre section. Both are equipped with aftermarket Hotchkiss front and rear sway bars, painted and detailed with POR 15 sealer.The engine in this vehicle is the correct numbers matching 350 cu.in. V8 which has been professionally rebuilt with the inclusion of internal high performance parts. Externally it is fitted with correct polished finned aluminum valve covers, aftermarket aluminum intake manifold with a Holley double pump 4 barrel carburetor with braided stainless steel fuel lines and AN high pressure fittings and inline fuel pressure gauge, aftermarket K&N filter and breather, aftermarket Streetfire MSD distributor with MSD high tension plug wires, aftermarket mini starter, aftermarket water pump, chrome alternator and brackets. It is smooth running without signs of oil leakage or consumption. The firewall and inner fenders are rust and damage free. The firewall is painted the body colour, equipped with an aftermarket chrome brake booster and master cylinder. The inner fenders and rad cradle are painted semi gloss black. There is also an aftermarket Northern aluminum radiator with a correctly mounted flex light electric fan. It is also equipped with aftermarket Hooker super comp ceramic coated full length headers.The transmission in this vehicle is a replacement Muncie M22 4-speed standard, controlled and monitored by an aftermarket Hurst floor mounted shifter. It is in good working order.The exhaust on this vehicle is a custom installed system, using 3" stainless steel front pipes, dual polished stainless steel Magnaflow mufflers with the correct 2-1/2" stainless steel tail pipes exiting in the correct location. This system is in good working order from front to rear.The paint on this vehicle is an older professionally applied yellow repaint over the original red colour. It has the correct Z28 black striping package which have been clear coated and are undetectable to the touch. All hidden areas such as door jambs, under hood and trunk have also been refinished rendering the original red colour undetectable. It has a smooth high gloss finish which has been wet sanded and polished. There is no damage or rust perforation at this time.The interior in this vehicle retains the original front bucket seats and rear bench seat which have been reupholstered with the correct black vinyl coverings, new appearing. The door panels and rear quarter window panels are also correct replacements. The carpet is also a correct contoured black high loop pile replacement, in new condition. The headliner is the correct black perforated panel replacement, in new condition. The dash and dash pad as well as the centre console are restored originals with the original style gauges and aftermarket Autometer white faced gauges mounted below the dash. It is also equipped with an aftermarket Painless wiring fuse panel and wiring harness. The dash is also fitted with an aftermarket Pioneer AM/FM CD stereo. It has two front 4" speakers and 2 6x9 speakers mounted in the rear package tray. The center console also houses the floor mounted Hurst shifter. It is also equipped with new replacement alloy sill plates as well as replacement seatbelts.The vehicle is equipped with the original style split front rear bumper which has been rechromed and in good condition, as is the original Z28 grill and badging. The rear bumper is original, rechromed, in good condition. The headlight bezels and tail light bezels are original, in good condition. It is equipped with replacement exterior door handles in good condition. The windshield stainless and rear window trim are original, in good condition.The vehicle is equipped with the original Z28 painted steel rims with the correct centre cap, trim ring and lug nuts which are new appearing, mounted with BF Goodrich raised white letter TA radials, size 235/60/15's on the front and 255/60/15's on the rear.The windshield is a correct tinted and shaded safety glass replacement, new appearing. The side and rear windows are also new tinted safety glass replacements. The side windows are manually assisted, in good working order.
