1968 Chevrolet C-10 Description
68 C10 SWB original paint with patina nice solid Texas truck has had outer rockers and some small patches in floor. Has one small rust hole on pass cab corner about the size of a pencil eraser. The outside of the doors are good there is some minor rust on the inside of the bottom of them would be easy to fix its not really noticeable unless you get down low and look.. Pass fender has dents and some rust I have a new fender and inner fender I will included. New cedar bed floor. New door weather stripping. Basically everything on the truck other than the body is new. Has a new orange houndstooth seat with new foam. New 8k tach dash. New tilt column. New dash pad and sun visors. New carpet. New pedal pads. New glove box liner.
Frame has been blasted and powder coated black with all new bushing, ball joints, tie rods, new power steerin, DJM tubular control arms, CCP tubular trailing arms, 5" drop all the way around with DJM lowering shocks . 9" rear end from Quick Performance 35 spline axles, Nodular center, 3.50 gear with a spool. All new stainless brake lines with braided hoses. 4 Wheel Wilwood Disc brakes and Wilwood master cylinder with adjustable proportioning valve. New 3" aluminized exhaust.
454 bored 60 9.5 compression runs fine on 93 may run 89 or 87 but I've never really tried. Rectangle / square port heads 088 casting. Bullet solid roller cam ( sounds great) tons of bottom end power. Performer RPM air gap with 850 double pumper with fuel log. New fuel pump. MSD dist, MSD coil, 6AN box and MSD wires. Billet alt and PS brackets with deep groove aluminum pulleys. New power steering pump and hoses. Aluminum Weind water pump. 31" Afco radiator. Comp cams push rods and Comp Stainless rockers. All braided fuel lines and braided transmission cooler lines.
400 turbo trans freshly rebuilt with Hughes Performance convertor 3200 stall ($700) built specially for the truck braided trans lines with ext cooler. Has a new PEM 4130 Driveshaft with 1350 joints.
All new wiring front to rear. New wheels and tires 28" MT radial front runners on 5" steel wheels on front. Has 10" rear wheels with 285/70 15 rear tires in the pics also includes a set of matching 12" wide rear wheels with a MT 315/60 drag radial pros. All the tires have less than 1500 miles on them
Truck runs and drives with no issues runs cool starts right up will lay rubber as long as you can stay on the road. You can get in it and drive it from Kentucky to California. I figured out along time ago you can't win the race if you cant finish so I build everything to be reliable. I've just lost interest and have way to many projects mostly selling to fund upgrades to my car for Drag Week. Drag Week car has been 8.50@157 in the 1/4 This truck doesn't run that good but is defiantly no slouch.
Everything on the truck was gone through Mechanically and either new or completely rebuilt at time of build 6 months or so ago. Also have a new rear bumper and brackets for the truck. The bumper is at the paint shop it will be included and painted flat white. If I were spending this kind of money on a vehicle I would come look at it I'll put it on the lift you can see what you are buying.
