1940 Chevrolet Other DeLuxe Description

An old streetrodder was obsessed with finding a virgin 40 Chevy coupe. Finally he found exactly what he was looking for a rust free solid, straight, 75,000 mile survivor. He set out to make it the best, little streetrod on the planet! He stripped it to bare metal and primed and sealed it. He installed a Pontiac rear on leaf springs. He did several other needed tasks, but that's where his story ends. He passed on. The car sat for a number of years until I bought it. I had a professional welder install a Mustang 2 type front suspension with rack and pinion and large disk brakes. New chrome tilt column with nice wheel. All new brakes system including new master cylinder, lines, etc. Stops great, steers easily and smoothly. The original upholstery is usable while you finish other parts. I have all the DeLuxe trim and parts, and some extras. Included in the sale is a totally rebuilt Chevy V-6 motor and a turbo 350 transmission. I have a clear Virginia title in my name. If you can, come take a look. If farther away, I have a local transporter with good pricing. At auction end I need a nonreturnable deposit of $750. in my Paypal. Transportation is the responsibility of the buyer. Thanks for looking, Ed.
