1955 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Bel Air Description

Drop the top down and let's go cruising! This beautiful 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air Convertible was purchased at the January 1996 Barrett Jackson auction in Scottsdale Arizona. It came out of the Reggie Jackson Collection and the current owner has owned it since then, 23 years. In that time it was driven less than 300 miles in Parades and taken to a few car shows.
This little beauty, Gypsy Red and Shoreline Beige, has always been stored inside and started from time to time to keep the 'juices' flowing. Data plate on the cowl shows Style 1067 DTX, correct for a convertible.
Equipped with the original 265 cu. in. V8 topped with a two barrel, power is put to the road thru the ever popular Powerglide automatic transmission. Dual exhaust and a set of quiet glass pac mufflers were added less than a year ago along with a new battery and the carb was rebuilt at the same time.
The '55 is equipped with a power convertible top, it has not been out of the well in the last 20 years.
A full set of bumper wing tips and bumper guards add to the front and rear styling of this Convertible.
The front door panels currently in the car are '55 hardtop panels, new correct convertible panels come with the car. Currently licensed and registered in Arizona, car is located in Phoenix. The last two photos show the top up after being down in the well for the last 20 years! In remarkable condition, just shows some wrinkles that would eventually smooth out. The plastic rear window is in fine shape but has some brown spots on it, not sure what caused that.
This awesome '55 Chevy Convertible runs and drives very well, was restored right the first time and the new owner will be proud to drive the car into any car show! Buyer is responsible for transporting or picking up the car. Please see deposit and payment requirements below. Call with any questions you may have. No trades. Please note, we reserve the right to end the auction at any time, the car is advertised for sale locally as well as on ebay. 623 340-1021 Keith
