1938 Chevrolet Other Pickups Description

This cool little Chevy has a 350 Chevrolet engine and short bed. The original 3-speed manual tranny was replaced with an automatic transmission. Has been used in a number of military parades every few years otherwise it's been sitting in one of our garages for ages. This truck was my grandpa's who passed it on to my uncle who passed it on to my mom upon his death. The odometer doesn't function and stopped at approximately 89,000 miles.Like I said, it was used very sparinglyover the last few decades so the mileage is pretty accurate I'd say.

It just had the carburetor re-built, fluids drained and replaced, new spark plugs, new battery and timing adjusted (see invoice). I have not driven since it's unregistered but it's fires right up and purrs! I have a recent video which I'm unable to attach but, if interested, let me know and I can email it to you.

Will eventually need replacement of the rear wheel seals and front king pins (mechanic estimated about $750 to do both including labor). Will need windshield and rear window replacement. Clear title in hand. This little Chevy is a real head-turner!
