1987 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z Description

Offered for sale is one very special loaded '87 IROC. Customerspecial ordered. Look at that RPO sticker! It has pretty much every option (like factory louvers), plus a few options I didn't even know you could order like seats with extra cushioning and softer springs. The gentleman thatorderedthis car from new wanted a fast luxurious cruiser. I have the original window sticker and the original owner's name that will go to the new owner. 45Koriginal miles
The car is stunning and in mostlyoriginal condition except for one repaint in the proper factory dark red metallic color and amagna flow muffler. It drives amazing. A/C blows ice cold. Just had the original wheels restored and they came out looking great. I put brand new tires on also since the ones on it were from 2014 and getting a bit dry.
A few things that are still on my to do list are: the horn is notworking. I have a new OEM steering wheel I'm going toswitch outand will look at the horn then. There are two small cracks in theplastic upper door trim. Notvisiblewith the door closed (covered by dash), but I have new OEM trim pieces to replace them anyway. Once in awhile the car will blow blue smoke only upon start up and for only a few seconds than it goes awayimmediately. I was told by a mechanic that itsprobably a leaky valve stem seal. I haven't had a chance to have it fixed yet. Lastly, the previous owner must've had the paint buffed out and there is still some rubbing compound stuck in some of the crevices around the body. It needs to beproperly detailed at some point. The pictures of the paint look great, but thats with me just simply wiping the car down with show and shine.
The pictures speak for themselves. I have many more pictures also. No rust. Nobodywork. No stories. While the car is not perfect, you will be hard pressed to find a nicer IROC out there!
