Brand new 1989 Batmobile build. This was not done using an old drivetrain and mocked together using old parts. This car was professionally built on a stretched 1993 Caprice Classic police cruiser by a company specializing and licensed to build these. There is a 2 year waiting list to get one and will cost over 145k to build with this quality. Due to recent changes in my life I have decided to part with it. A little piece of information, all builds arrive the same way, no inner fenders, plastic side mechanics, and many bugs that need to be ironed out. It just looks cheap because one can see right thru the wheel wells. Over 12k was spent to have the inner fender wells made and the entire inner body skeleton strengthened properly. The hood opens electrically making it easy to see the engine. Most builds require the entire front end removed just to check the oil!! The car has working prop machine guns that rise out of the body and fire using special effects propane gas and igniters. They sound real. The after burner also works. The car has custom 4 corner air suspension that raises the car from inside for loading and speed bump clearance. The canopy opens electrically using 2 hidden rams. The leather interior is fully custom in the Batman theme. The engine is a brand new 350 crate motor with computerized programmable Holley Sniper fuel injection and headers and new exhaust. The side mechanics are not molded to the body like most replicas, however hand crafted from real metal and aluminum components found in hot air balloon valve systems like the way the movie creators did it. This cost over 4k to re-create and hundreds of man hours. This is a turn key car finished in matte black. Custom radiator keeps the car cool for parades. It has air conditioning and heating. A lot of the replicas do not have this. The car has a back up camera screen and also has a DVD player to play the movie thru the awesome sound system. It also has blue tooth capabilities which allow you to send movie sound bites to the car. All the vents have the correct mesh screening which has to be added once the car is received fir that proper finished look. The car is registered as a 1993 Chevrolet Caprice Classic and located in California and I hold the clear title. Shipping to from California across the US is going to be 2-3 thousand enclose, depending how far you are going. I will not release the vehicle until it is paid in full. The vehicle is available to be viewed by serious buyers only and appointment as I am very busy and I don’t want to waste both our time for one to just come and take pictures. This is the 30th anniversary and this car is in demand for conventions etc. We have over 145k invested in this car and we are asking a fair price considering there is no wait. You will save over 50k and will have it with-in a week instead of 2 years and you will still have to spend $ revamping it to make it not look like a cheap replica. Car also has polished headers and 4 way cameras for maneuvering. This is street legal at least here in California. Vehicle is set up for indoorconvention showing with dual batteries and appropriate cut-off switch for indoor display. Please, no dreamers, this is a serious car so please have funds available.
