A 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle convertible will always make a great first impression. After all, the factory droptops of this muscle car legend are rare. The V8 looks great filling the engine bay with its bold orange block, shining valve covers, newer belts, and a bright air grabber. But beneath the style is the substance of a Holley dual-feed four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, and Accel HEI ignition. This total package exhales with authority out of long tube headers that add power while contributing to the rumble of the Flowmaster H-pipe dual exhaust. You have complete control over the sound and the fury of this total power package thanks to the four-speed manual transmission. Beyond just a dominating total drivetrain package, this Chevelle offers good control. Features like power steering and power brakes w/discs up front give it a commanding feeling on the streets. Chevrolet only built 10,600 Chevelle convertibles in 1968, making them a very rare commodity over half a century later.
