1972 Chevrolet Corvette Description

You are bidding at NO RESERVE on a stunning 3 owner 1972 Corvette with the original Matching Numbers 350 with the highly desirable original 4-Speed Manual transmission.

I had the entire car repainted 1 year ago to 1972 Corvette Rally Red and it looks gorgeous. The body shop stated that it appeared to be all original panels from what they could see, with the exception of the big block hood that was added by the previous owner. The entire car was taken down to the bare fiberglass, sealed, primed, and painted right. Cost over $7,000 in paintwork alone. All the trim and bumpers are original except the front bumper that was replaced a few years back and all are in excellent shape with only minimal wear.

The original 350 was completely rebuilt and all the original parts were sent out to a machine shop so the engine is as original as possible. This Corvette runs like a new car, bump the key and it fires right up, super smooth, no leaks, no hesitation, and no strange noises. Engine only has around 1,000 miles on it since being rebuilt. Transmission was gone through as well at time of the engine rebuild and shifts perfect. Rear had new seals installed and currently has 3:23 gears, so it goes down the road perfect even at 60-70 mph. Engine vin matches the vin tag see pictures.

Interior is all-original and in phenomenal shape considering the age, drivers seat only has a small tear on the left side along the seam (in picture), everything else looks new as its been well taken care of. All of the gauges work with the exception the clock. The original seat belt buzzer even still works! All the headlights go up and down as they should and so do the wipers, the entire vacuum assembly and lines were replaced a few years back so you don't have to worry.

Frame is super solid as is the birdcage. The suspension was kept up through the years and what was needed was replaced. The wheels and tires are in great shape with tons of tread left.

Overall this is a beautiful C3 Corvette 4-speed that is fully matching numbers and is ready to take to the show or cruise down the highway. The car drives excellent, no misses, doesn’t run hot, shifts like butter and will bring many years of enjoyment while still appreciating in value. Take a look at the pictures this Corvette is a head turner. Matching number Corvettes like this don’t come around often so don’t miss your chance. Similar ones I have watched and seen in person sale for $25,000-30,000 and this Corvette is nicer than those.
