1948 Chevrolet 2 Door Stylemaster Sedan
1948 Chevrolet Stylemaster Description
I started to restore this in 2010 back to stock, history of paper work back from Oklahoma, I think I'm the fourth owner. Car drove here to California in 1985. I found it dead needing everything, The body was dent and corrosion free. Super solid floors, replaced the head with valve work and hardened valve seats, replaced the fuel system gas tank to carburetor, rebuilt all the brake system, rebuilt suspension including the hydrolic shock absorbers, rebuilt steering box, I painted the third paint job, all the flat glass was replaced, the interior is new and super clean, 12 volt conversion, five powder coated wheels, fender aprons, core support, valve cover, oil pan, side cover, brackets and pullys, clock works, speedometer works, radio is only the face plate, no stock radio, new tires full of tread, low miles on restoration. No power vacuum assist shift on transmission. Car comes out once a year to a car show and a few trips to work a mile away, I never drive it enough to keep it. Some of my best work since 1976.
