1964 Chevrolet Corvette Description

Very nice 64 corvette convertible with working fuel injection. The chassis is new as is most of the suspension( a-arms, shocks, bearings, ball joints, hubs, control arms, half shafts, spindles etc).Upgraded to 4 wheel disc brakes, stainless steel brake lines with power brake booster- massive improvement in drivability and stopping. Stance is slightly lowered, modern BFG tires on original knock off wheels with Bilstien sport shocksmakes for a more secure and planted handling feel. Also, drive shaft( heavy duty u-joints installed) and rear differential were completely rebuilt. Basically a new car underneath. The stock look is pretty much retained. From 10 feet the only noticeable difference is the Hurst shifter and modern tires. The original engine block and heads were junk. So, a Chevy crate short block was used with aluminum trick flow heads, a moderate cam and Dougs headers. Sounds Amazing with theFlowmaster mufflers. Car has a unbelievable sound and rumble at idle. There was some other minor engine work done but I do not have the work order in front of me. Car pulls strongly to 6,500 rpm. There are not any real options, so everything works. Has the stock am/fm radio that is static(y). Clock works, but does not keep time well. Head lamps work. Has super rare factory wood steering wheel!Care shifts really nice. Great solid muscle car feel. Interior is pretty fresh, see pictures. Convertible top is marginal. Has a small tear and rear window is foggy It is white in color (clean), from 10 feet it lookspretty decent. Also, the car has a new heater core and alternator. The paint is a non factory color. It looks metallically in bright light, in the shade or night looks like a stock daytona blue.I rarely drive the car and let it sit too long, so I am getting a slight hesitation and the idle is high after warm up. Figure the car will need a bit of F.I. tuning to get back to awesome. It ran perfecttill I decided to sell it. I am selling my collector cars and mx bikes. I am retiring. Cars include, 77 porsche turbo, 75 porsche carrrera, 70 porshce 914-6, 2010 porsche gt3 rs, porsche 934 twin turbo replica, 2008 Ferrari gtb, 2Renualt R5 turbos, 72 Alfa gtv and a few others. My mx bikes I have 3 macios (1 501!) 3 cz's. ossas, husqvarnas, bultaco, pentons, honda elsinores all in amazing condition for collectors.I am embarrassed to say how much money I have in the Corvette. My loss your gain.
