1980 Chevrolet Caprice Description

selling my rare caprice i have owned the carsense 1987, i bought it from theoriginal owner and a friend of mine, he specialordered it. It had all the options including the high speed policesuspension, andpost-tractionand, factory engine oil cooler. It was originally a 305 with 3 speed auto, now it is a LT-1 350 with 4 speed auto. The engine and trans was from a wrecked 95 Impala SS with approx. 40000 miles, we used a painlesswiring harness w/stock computer and Dakota digitalinstruments. The transmission was recently rebuilt with h/dcomponents and 2000RPM stall converter. The 3rd memberreplaced with a eatonposi and 3:42 gears. New paint original color and rechromed bumpers. Wheels are 15x8 from a 442olds. Body is very straight, car has been in calif its whole life, no rust. Inside needs to befreshened up, front seat driver side shows wear, carpet is original, plastic parts scoffed from normal wear and tear. Theoriginal clock and radio still in place and working, headliner is new as is thevinyltop, factory sunroof works. Cars rides and drives great. Car is in OC california, but it will not pass califoria smog test, due to missing required smog parts, and no cats, would have to install missing components to pass the 1995standards. This car geta lot looks and questions when i take it out, many ask me what kind of car is that ? even a police officer asked me recently, lol. car always has beed garaged.
