This 1974 Corvette was donated to the National Corvette Museum in early 2014 and has been exhibited numerous times in the Museum. It was a one-owner car at the time of its donation to the Museum, purchased originally with only 8 miles on the odometer. It currently has only 34,434 miles on it. This beautiful Dark Brown (Code 68) Corvette with Saddle color leather interior (Code 416) has the original 350ci/250hp, L82 engine with a 4-speed manual transmission and Corvette Rally wheels with Firestone white letter GR70-15 tires mounted.
The Saddle interior was enhanced with the custom interior package which includes wood grained door panel and console trim, along with carpeted lower door panels. This Corvette also has working air-conditioning, four-wheel power disc brakes, power steering, tilt/telescoping steering column, AM/FM radio, and theft alarm.
1974 was the first year for Corvette to have body color, urethane bumpers front and rear and was the last year of Corvette to not have a catalytic converter. This is also the famed year of the "split rear bumperâ€.
