1970 Chevrolet Caprice Kingswood Estate Description

Up for sale is my 1970 Kingswood wagon. Original 454, it now has a 90's crate 454 with Gen6heads giving it a 9:1 comp. ratio for pump gas - runs very strong, Turbo 400 with 2500 stallconverter, 12 bolt 3:31 open rear end. Tires, brakes, Borla exhaust, suspension including tubular a-arms and big Hellwig sway bars front & rear all have about 5K on them. Should consider it a bodyman special as it has rust and bondo in the lower fenders and quarters - floors and rockerssolid. Interior is pretty good except for cargo area. All in all a fun wagon! In response to a couple of questions:

- The age or mileage of the crate engine are unknown as it was installed by a previous owner. Has Edelbrock Performer intake and Jet Performance Quadrajet. Starts on the first turn of the key, elec. choke working, uses no oil between changes.

- All lights, electrical and power rear window working. A/C inop but complete, compressor turns on.

- Front end has Global West control arms & lowering springs, no air bags.
- Currently registered & insured, regularly driven as grocery getter, beach cruiser.
