1989 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 1500 Description

Up for Auction is a 1989 Chevrolet C1500 regular cab short box that has had a complete custom rebuild. This was an older rebuild and we don't know how long ago it was done but we do know it was done after 1999-2000. We also don't know who built it, but we do know this is an awesome truck that you can't build for what our reserve is. The engine is a 454 V-8 with a mild cam, Edelbrock Performer intake manifold, Quick Fuel Hot Rod Series carburetor with secondary vacuum, and Hedman Headers. This engine is backed with a 700R4 transmission and 10 bolt rear end. The truck rolls on 22" American Racing 5 spoke wheels with 265/35R22 tires on the front and 305/40R22 tires on the back. To give the truck a level stance the rear frame has been properly notched and the springs have been blocked. The front end is a 1999 - 2000 Cadillac Escalade conversion and the back end had a roll pan put on in place of the bumper and a hard tonneau cover placed on the bed. The truck has a beautiful light metallic burnt orange paint with custom hand painted pin striping. The inside of the cab, dash, and doors have been panted to match the outside along the same custom hand painted pin striping. The bench seat has been recovered a nice looking brown that goes well with the color of the truck. The steering wheel has been replaced with a custom chrome and tan steering wheel. We had the tan dyed black and it looks a heck of a lot better. I will get a picture of the steering wheel posted as soon as I can. The original radio has been replaced with a Kenwood CD player and a pair of nice sounding Rockford Fosgate subs installed behind the seat. The truck is equipped with ice cold air conditioning, tilt steering wheel, cruise control, manual windows, manual door locks, and a manual sliding rear window. We have driven this truck quite a bit and it is very fun to drive. whoever built this truck did an amazing job but you have to remember that this is an older build and it is not perfect. The truck is rust free and well above average but it may have a scratch or chip in the paint. I only say that because I don't want anybody thinking it's flawless. I know the cup to the tailgate handle has a corner broke off(visible in picture) and the dash and door panels have some small cracks in the paint. This truck is a must see and we strongly suggest seeing the truck before you bid because all sales are final and the truck will be sold AS-IS. The odometer reads 13,817 miles and we were told that is the mileage from restore but just like any vehicle this age, the mileage is not recorded on the title and we are not selling this vehicle as accurate miles. • Vehicle is sold AS-IS, with NO WARRANTY. We have done our best to disclose all known information. We strongly encourage you inspect the vehicle yourself or have an inspection done by a professional prior to auction ending. Inspection after the sale will not be allowed as the vehicle is sold AS-IS.

• Must be 18 years of age or older to bid and/or purchase. Winning bidder must email a copy of their driver's license within 24 hours of the auction ending.

• If the winning bidder is an Iowa resident the purchase must be completed at our dealership and tax, title, license, and document fees, and/or lien fee must be paid to us at that time. Out of state resident must pay their state taxes and fees when transferring in their state. Document fees do not apply to out of state buyers.

• Winning bidder will be contacted by email immediately after the auction ends. The winning bidder must communicate via email or phone within 24 hours of auction ending to make arrangements to complete the transaction.

• Winning bidder must pay a $1,000 non-refundable payment within 24 hours of auction ending by credit card or cash in person. We reserve the right to sell the vehicle to another buyer or to relist it if payment is not made.

• The balance of the winning bid must be made within 4 days (96 hours) of the auction ending. Balance of funds must be paid by bank wire transfer, certified funds/cashiers check, or cash in person. We strongly encourage the buyer to pay by money wire transfer as it is the safest method for both parties and the quickest way to get the deal done. If you choose to pay by certified funds/cashiers check then we will hold the vehicle for however many days it takes for the check to clear and the money to be secure in our account. We reserve the right to sell the vehicle to another buyer or to relist it if full balance is not paid.

• Winning bidder is responsible for any shipping costs. Winning bidder is also responsible for finding and hiring a shipping company. Vehicle is located in Polk City, Iowa 50226. We do not ship vehicles. We will help when vehicle is picked up but we are not responsible in any way from damages arising from shipping.

• Before the vehicle is released to the buyer or shipping company all documents must be properly signed and completed.

• Vehicle must be picked up within seven (7) days of purchase unless other arrangements are made.
