1968 Chevrolet C-10 Description

I bought this truck when I was working in Austi, Texas from a border patrol agent . He was selling the truck to fund a pool . I throughly checked out the three matching vins on the drivers doo, front drivers frame and the glove box tag ( which is very rare to still have ) . She’s a true shortbed . The builder stripped it down to the fram, removing the cab and bed . He cleaned the fram, replaced all the mounts and every bushing . He installed lowering spindles and added front disc brakes . The cab was remounted with brand new rockers ( welds are still present and not covered up ) . The perfect bed was reinstalled with new pine wood and black straps and all new hardware . Black Bed liner was sprayed in . The tailgate is perfect along with the hinges and latch . A brand new interior was installed with a new wood steering whee, seat hardware and all new handle, latches - rubbers and all new front and rear glass and door glass and regulators . Brand new old style radio and speakers and cord for added for aux input . Brand new ac and heat blows cold for AC and the heater will cook you out . The engine was gone thru and completely checked out and resealed . All wear parts were replaced . It came from a 2002 Silverado 5.3 liter . The 1998 4L80 Tranny was completely rebuilt . She shifts fast and firm ! Digital gauges were installed . The speedo needs to be recalibrated . It’s done from inside the truck with the push of a button . I just installed a 140 amp alternator . The fan shroud has been extended to pull air thru the radiator and ac condenser . A brand new fan clutch was installed last week . The engine runs at 189 degrees in 115 outside temp . This truck is all dialed i, brand new tires and rims and brand new 4 wheel allignment . She rides true and straight . It had hot rod red Matt paint on the exterior . I spent 6,000.00 dollars and a new two toned red and black repaint . The truck shines beautifully . No dings or dents or Bondo present . It all laser straight body panels . Every thing works as it should including the horn and dome light . The locks all wor, they are stiff from being brand ne, but they all work . The biggest complaint I hear is people don’t like the rims . Change them out if you like as they are a personal preference. Everything on this truck is brand new and well over 35 k was spent .
