This hard-hitting classic “square body” 2nd generation Chevy will turn heads no matter where you are. The 1972 cab, paired with the upfitted 1986 bed lets this truck make a statement before you ever crank it up.
The exterior is in very good shape with a custom matte black paint finish. The bulleted chrome grille and newer lenses set off a sharp contrast to the tall body panels of this beautiful truck. The step-side bed is capped off with a black bed cover that is in great shape and not showing any signs of wear or abuse. The hood is covered in a simulated carbon fiber vinyl that gives it some definition while protecting the large flat surface from UV and scratches. The only real notable issue is some very minor paint chipping on both sides of the tailgate due to the tight gaps near the top. Supported with a match set of Michelin P245/60R18 tires and bright chrome 5-spoke wheels, this truck will be the coolest thing you ever drive.
Under the hood this truck continues to excite. The large and orange 350 V8 engine crowned with an Edelbrock 4-barrel carb and breather sets off the chrome valve covers and other accents. There is so much chrome you almost lose the like-new A/C compressor and the fact that it will blow icicles inside the cab and disc brakes makes it easy to stop on a dime. Evidence of a small oil leak can be detected from under the back of the engine, but the oil pan and other components that have been upgraded or replaced really draws you attention from it.
The cab has been unfitted with an aluminum digital dash only showing 6,050 miles. A Delphi X25 MP3/CD Player cranks out the tunes while you ride in style with bucket seats and crank windows. This only adds to the enjoyment while you drive this 3-speed automatic transmission on the column. No detail has been left behind with padded sun visors and other details that make this truck a true gem.
