1959 Chevrolet Other Pickups 3100 Description

For sale is my 1959 Apache pickup. Most of the drivetrain has been gone through and updated. The truck has a used 283 small block chevy that has oversized pistons. The stock 327 cylinder heads have been completely overhauled by a professional shop. All the engine seals where replaced using all top of the line Fel-pro gaskets. Has a Edelbrock performer intake with a Holley 650cfm. The valve covers pictured will not be included in the sale, the stock gm covers will be reinstalled. The old engine and transmission crossmembers have been replaced with new ones. The transmission is a TH350 with a double bend Lokar shifter. The rear end is out of a Chevy Two-Ten car so it has a taller gear ratio. The wheel pattern is 5x4.75 all around now. The truck itself is in very ruff shape. The frame is only surface rust but the body has a significant amount of rot and dents. The floor pan has been patched in a few spots. The steering box is original and has a lot of play. This is a good running driving truck. It is still a project but can be enjoyed and driven the way it is. Please ask as many questions as possible before placing a bid.
