1969 Corvette Stingray Convertible with removable Hardtop
1969 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray Description
I purchased this 1969 Chevy Corvette in January 2009. At that time the previous owner had rebuilt the engine, milling the heads and block, (so no matching numbers) rebuilt the transmission and he added a shift kit. Previous owner also installed a MSD electronic ignition, distributor & wires. He added a new Milodon oil pan, Griffon Aluminum Radiator with electronic fan. The frame is totally rust free. Since I purchased vehicle I have replaced: gas tank and sending unit, coil springs on the front, universal joints, all brake shoes & cylinders were replaced and rotors cut; all parts to make headlights open/close, replaced old hood with new one, so no need for a wiper door anymore. Also replaced new windshield wiper motor, windshield wipers w/sprayers, headlight washer sprayer, and all glass was replaced. Wiper motor needs to be grounded. Installed new posi-traction rear end. The body was stripped and professionally prepared for new paint. All taillights replaced & new electronic radio installed and new electronic clock installed; old steering system was removed - new steering column installed w/tilt. Most of the interior was replaced except for the 2 dash side panels. New hood & side exhaust pipes installed and brand NEW ANTIQUE Air Conditioning, (it has not been charged per instructions by distributer). I am no longer able to physically finish my pride and joy even the remaining projects are minor things that I wanted to add but cannot do. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions before bidding. Need a $1,000 deposit and plan to use PayPal. Vehicle must be picked up within 7 days of purchase. Buyer is responsible for pickup/ transport.

The break in warning system has all new wiring. The radio was replaced with a "Corvette" radio. Clock looks the same but modernized. I was getting ready to replace the Engine with the latest in technology with 6 speed Manuel transmission. This was before my back disintegrated . Both doors were redone with new bushings and handles. The more I remember the more I will add to this description.
