1951 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Hardtop Resto Mod Description

1951 Chevrolet Bel Air hardtop Resto Mod. Rust-free Chevy which the owner purchased in 1993 as a completed, driving, and running car from Arkansas which was powered by a small block Chevrolet and 3-speed automatic transmission.

In the late 1990’s he took the car apart and had it painted the two-tone bronze you see pictured. The only bodywork was performed on the lower section of the driver’s door where a new metal section was welded in place. The hood was welded together, nosed, decked, and peaked.

During the early 2000’s the car was completed using a tuned-port fuel-injected 350 c.i. Chevy, 700R4 transmission, and an 8.8” Ford differential. Additionally, Power Mustang II rack & pinion steering was added along with the A/C by Vintage Air.

For approximately 5 years he drove the car to local cruise meets and cars shows and then in 2015 decided to freshen up the car with a new interior, gauges, rebuild the engine & transmission, etc. So, he took the car completely apart again to the condition you see it here.

Due to health-related issues he could not complete the car and needs to sell.
