1963 Chevrolet Impala Description

Up for sale is a 1963 Chevrolet Impala. This car was originally built as a show car as it was painted with all candy paint with extreme detail. The paint lines and scheme continues throughout the cars door jams/hinges which is something no race car has. The paint is over 20 years old but the car has been garage kept and for the remaining 4 years has been stored in our car hauler. Throughout our ownership, the car motor has no more than 100 runs. It was raced between the years of 2010-2013. The car has a Bob Maxey/Terry Samikow Big bock 555 with Cheetah Shifter and Turbo 400 and is certified for 8.50. The car is mild steel and is all steel with the exception of hood, trunk, and front clip. It weighs between 2,900-3000 lbs and would run consistent 8.70/8.80's in the quarter and in cool weather high 8.50's/to low 8.60's. The car has the ability to be setup as either a Mod-ET or Top-ET car. For Top-ET, it has the Biondo 450 with air shifter configuration based off of RPM shift points. This is truly a unique race car and would be a great nostalgia drag car. Since the car was never competitively raced, there are no spare parts with exception of an additional hood. For anyone who wishes to see, please schedule an appointment. Our racing equipment is an hour away from our house and it is difficult to meet someone same day. I ask that only serious buyers message me or call me at 240-330-0094 and ask for Andrew.
