1965 Chevrolet Impala Description

As previously described in condition I want to make clear that this car has not been cobble together. But yet assembled with great attention to detail.
When I receive the car it had the original 327 which I removed along with the powerglide and sold. I then added a 5.3 LS from a 2008 GMC with 65,000 miles. If you have any questions about how clean the motor is I have pictures of it when I installed the cam and valve springs. It has a comp cams with Lunati dual valve springs along with a Holley intake and Holley sniper fuel injection. I used an MSD LS series for the controller. There was a tremendous amount of time spent making the5.3 LS looklike a 327. If anybody has built a motor like this they know what goes into it. The coils have been relocated and are mounted on the back of the head’s. I also used Holly cast exhaust manifolds. The exhaust runs through 2 1/2 inch pipe with Flowmaster mufflers all the way to the back. The transmission is a 4L 60 E that I had rebuilt with a 2200 stall and a TCI controller. The rear end is the original with a 355 gear car performs and runs awesome! you wanna driveit home feel free. I put approximately 300 miles on the install trouble free. Ask me why I’m selling it? I’m a car guy and as usual another opportunity has come along.
The interior in this car is 100% original excluding the carpets which I just installed. Yes the originals were still in it and showing a great deal of wear.Along with that and still have the original weatherstripping which I replaced in the doors and the roof as well as inside the trunk. I also installed new sillplates with the carpet set. I also installed a small Bluetooth controller with two rear speakers so you can pair your phone for some music. This way I could leave the original radio in place. I did not cut anything in the dash I just remove the ashtray which can be pushed right back in if you remove the Bluetooth controller. It is just attached with Velcro. The controller for the transmission is mounted in the glove box while the controller for the engine is Velcro to the dash so you can see the vitals.
The suspension and wheels and tires were also upgraded by myself. I’m sure you want to know how the car was lowered the springs were cut properly. It rides and drives awesome with no rub. I also installedhotchkis sway bars front and rear. The suspension and wheels and tires were also upgraded by myself.
The front wheels are 17”x7” with 225/55-17’s tiresThe rear wheels are17x9” with 275/55-17’s tiresThe wheels are made by wheel vintiques The tires are made by diamondback Classics. This is not an inexpensive set up.
Lastly the big question does it have A/C The answer to the question of does it work is I’m not sure. When I received the car the gentleman told me all the components were new but the compressor was leaking it did kick on. I have since finished the lines and put a new Sanden compressor on it. I will be charging the system this week and I will find out if it works. If so great in the event that it does not I will probably not pursue spending anymore money to fix I will update on this as soon as I get it charged.
