Very desirable 454 with a 4-speed and air conditioning! Also factory Cranberry red with red interior. Very detailed restoration including the underside. I also found very interesting: the vin ends in 111454, 454 is right in the vin! EXTERIOR: Code 75, it's a factory cranberry red car. It's a southern car, born in Atlanta. The body is clean, straight and fits nice. Has factory quarter panels, bottom door lips are clean. Doors shut real nice. The paint is polished smooth... and glossy. Painted on gloss black SS stripes. Bumpers are rechromed, stainless trim is good original. Glass is tinted. Door jambs are painted nice and have new weatherstrips. All four headlights are correct T-3s. INTERIOR: Code 787 which is factory red. Has bench seat so you can sit next to your sweetie. It also has correct Muncie shifter for a bench, correct bezel and knob. I'm sitting in the car now looking at the dash, it looks new. Has the factory gauge package with 6,500 redline tachometer, quartz movement in the clock. The heater controls look new. Has a retro stereo, nothing cut or broken. Dash pad is in excellent shape, new deluxe steering wheel. Overhead the headliner and visors look real nice, dome light works. The upholstery has been redone and the door panels have been replaced. Carpet is replaced, has seatbelts front and back. Everything looks excellent, only 2 minor issues- headrest has small split at the seam, rear cardboard shelf is warped. Factory gauges do not include oil pressure gauge so one has been installed in the glovebox. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The engine compartment is detail very nicely. The 454 motor runs strong. Upraded with an Edelbrock Performer intake and an Edelbrock carb with electric choke. Also has an HEI ignition. All the components are clean and orderly. Air conditioning is updated with R134a freon. The paint finishes are nice, has GM hoses and clamps, new correct fan shroud, correct chrome valve covers. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: This is a super clean, all original metal trunk compartment. Has the factory quarter panels and trunk floor. It's been resprayed in a gray and white spatter finish. The jamb shows the factory seems, has new weatherstrip. Bottom of the trunk lid is gloss red. There is a jack assembly and a rally wheel rim. UNDERSIDE: It is restored and detailed. Clean original floors are painted red oxide primer. Chassis is semi gloss black. Has F-41 suspension which includes sway bars and boxed control arms. Looks like the front end is rebuilt. Bottom of the motor is clean, new starter and fuel pump. The Muncie 4-speed looks fresh. New brakes, disc in front. E-brake assembly looks new. New dual exhaust with cowbell tips. Fuel tank, sending unit and lines look new. New shocks and rear springs. Has 12 bolt rear end, painted semi gloss black. This is the poster child for the muscle car era- a 1970 red Chevelle SS. Arguably the most popular car of that era. Finding a 4-speed with air is not easy either. This car shows great, will do well at any local shows. It includes misc receipts and glovebox pouch. The pouch includes protect-o-plate, owners manual, pre delivery inspection sheet and more. It is for display only, from another Chevelle. Very desirable car, great resale value!
