1957 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Description

This is a very nice 57 Chevy Belair stretch Limo. This was stretched professionally by Rod's Customs in Mn. They did a really nice job of stretching this limo and the bottom looks rust free. I took as many pictures of the bottom as I could but we didnt think we could get it up on the lift. I have personally driven this several times and it runs and drives great. We took several of our friends out in this car and everyone loves it. We get the thumbs up all the time and people take pictures where ever we go and often times they take pictures as they are driving by us its crazy all the attention this gets. If someone buys it out of state I would deliver it for 35 dollars an hour for my travel time plus gas and hotels or if someone flies here and picks it up I would pick them up from the airport and bring them here. Although I cant promise anything I would say this would make it anywhere in the US with no problems at all. This has a V8 283 in the car with a 4 barrell carb. The engine was rebuilt before I purchased the car by a guy by the name of Mat Powers. We did take the intake and valve covers off and cleaned them up and put in new gaskets. I also had my guys put in a brand new aluminum radiator. There was also some dripping from the back of the tranny so we removed that and had them put in a new seal. All the door handles have been shaved and they all have poppers and they all work. The windows are also electric and the passenger window has a small crack in the top front but hardly noticeable.Just as a guess this car was likely restored around 15 years ago. The style of the upholstery and the look of the restoration is what makes me believe that. The car will easily hold 5 people in the back and then there is a bench seat up front. The back seat folds down and we took it to the drive in theater and the kids laid in the back and watched the movie. This car has front disc brakes and stops good for a limo, it has power steering which works really well and it has air conditioning which my guys fixed and charged and it works well. It also has a CD player under the seat and a cassette player in the dash. I have never used the radio or the CD player. The paint is decent, there is no rust on the car and I didnt see any rust bubbles and since its been painted for at least 10-15 years Im going to say there is never going to be any rust issues. We do concours paint jobs here that cost 25K and this car is not as nice as those but it is a nice paint job and would stand up and look nice for many more years. This is just a fun all around car that needs no work and you can enjoy it taking friends and family around or you can start a business with Lyft or a limo service, I know there would be a ton of people that want to ride in this. Its fun to take friends around and they can talk and look at old houses and go through parks. If my shop was doing all this work on the low side buying the car, stretching it and doing this it would cost minimum 100K but likely a whole lot more. This is your chance to buy this car way, way below what it could be restored for. Thanks Kevin Manley Kevin's Klassic Cars 612-275-8722
