1957 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 210 Description

Up for auction is my 1957 Chevrolet 210 model 2 door hardtop. Restored approximately 25 years ago. Real nice car. shows monor wear and tear. Not a 100% show car but very nice.
This car was built in Canada. U.S. Production figures of the 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air 2 door hard tops were over 168,000. The 210 model built in the US was a little over 23000. Canadian figures I could not find. This is a rare car in my opinion.
This car was restored a while back. Title shows it was previously a Florida car.
The car is powered by a Small block V8. I believe it to be a 283, backed by a 3 speed manual transmission. Very quiet tight with ample power.
The cars body is very straight in my opinion. I see no rust and the panels line up very well. See pictures. The under body is solid as well. The body mounts are all in tact. It looks to have has a por 15 rust inhibitor applied by brush under neath.. See pictures. Very solid under there. The trunk looks good too. A bit of water has sat under the mat and has developed some surface rust. The rest of the trunk looks very solid. Even behind the bumper.
The interior is very nice. It has the correct 1957 seat fabric. good carpet, headliner and door panels. Rear package deck is nice.
Al the lights work. Dash lights work too. Turn signals, headlights, high beams, tail lights and brake lights all fine. Horn works. Has an aftermarket am fm 8 track radio too that works.
The tires are in great shape. Correct hubcaps. Color keyed wheels. The exhaust is dual with quiet mufflers. The brakes were recently redone also with new lines shoes and proportion valve for safety.
The 3 speed transmission shifts well but has hung up on me once or twice. This may need attention in the future.
This car runs and drives very well. Good oil pressure, battery charges properly with the generator. Accelerates to 65 plus with ease. No wobbling no excessive vibrations. Brakes very well with no pull.
Most the body chrome has been replaced and looks wonderful. See pictures. Being a Canadian built car it has the one piece front bumper. It also came with tinted shade lite tinted glass. The glass is beautiful and it looks tinted to me. All the stainless is nice. A lot of it was polished out. Few pieces need a bit more polishing, but overall are very nice.
The color of the car is called "Dusky Rose" with the Dover white top. These are Canadian names as they were a not the same name as US built cars and were a shade darker I'm told. I have nothing to compare the current paint to so i'm assuming they are the correct shade.
Overall this is a beautiful car with age. It is not a perfect "10'. It is however a very nice well kept car. I have a state issued resale certificate which my state requires in order to have my collection of cars. I'm more of a Mopar guy. But who doesn't like '57 Chevies?
The car is sold as is. You should be very pleased with this solid rare car. In person inspections are best or have "We Go Look" come see it for a fee you must pay.
Any questions please call me anytime. My number is posted at the end of my description. The car has a clear Nebraska Title. All paperwork will be done as per Nebraska law.
Negative of low feedback EBAY members must call me prior to bidding or I will cancel your bid and block you. I am a straight shooter and am thinning out some of my cars. As of now this is the only one I'm selling. I will only accept wire transfers or cashiers check by USPS...FED EX. All funds must clear before the car leaves my garage. These are my non negotiable terms.
I am in Omaha Nebraska and am in an industrial area about 1 mile off I-80. Plenty of room to load on transport.
Thanks and call with questions. Bernie 402 659 1118

Thank you for all the interest and questions. The car was restored approximately 25 years ago. I was not part of that restoration. I Don't believe it was a frame off restoration. The under body looks good. The car was repainted. I do not know what all was entailed. The car to me looks straight. I'm sure body work was done. I'm sure filler and new metal probably was involved... as with any restoration. I see no indication of prior collision damage. The car is 62 years old! LOL!
I am not a used car lot per say. No banners, balloons or hot dogs! I have a building I keep my cars in and have a resale Nebraska dealer certificate posted on my wall to keep my hobby legal in Nebraska. I comfortably hold 10 plus cars in there. I collect Mopars mostly. I have nothing else for sale at this time.

The windows were replaced and in mint shape. Yes they roll up and down well. The flappers above the door glass do flip up and down properly.
There is no buy it now. This is why i chose the auction format. High bidder, with reserve met, buys it. period. All funds must clear my account before the car leaves my garage.
Thanks and good luck!
