1987 Chevrolet Corvette Description

(don't Want To Sell, Wife Ultimatum)
1987 Chevrolet Corvette, 4-Speed Manual, Super Clean
Thinking about a corvette?
Here's what you need to know...
The dumbest thing you could buy is a newer one.
Why?
The insurance is outrageous, it's no faster or better than a classic one, and you're still in the 'good ol boys' club of vette owners (yep, get used to every other corvette on the road waving at you!)
Imagine how much less stressful and not enjoyable it'll be to own a vette...all the good that comes with that...but none of the high monthly payments, stupid-expensive insurance, or the guilt of not-driving-it-enough-to-justify-owning-it-but-not-wanting-to-drive-it-too-much-to-rack-up-too-many-miles...
Sounds reasonable, doesn't it?
Before I get to the details, let me share her story...and why I bought her.
I've always wanted to own a corvette. For a few reasons...
Because it's an American classic.
Fast.
Eye-catching.
Sexy.
But, it's also something that's become my favorite thing about the car...
...it's simple.
Easy to drive.
Comfortable.
My new car is so complicated and has so much technology it makes me stressed out to even sit in it.
If I didn't live in a place where there's snow and -30 degree weather...I'd keep this sucker and make it my daily driver.
Life was simpler and better in 1987.
This vette is proof.
When I sit it her, I feel relaxed.
The most beautiful, mean, beastly-but-clean vette that's never seen snow or rain.
She's never been abused, raced, or even done a burnout.
I love her.
But, like all love stories, there's gotta be an end.
I don't want to let her go. I really don't.
However, new baby and wife. No back seat or room for the stroller. Need I say more?
Here's the deal...
If you buy this from me. You better take DARN good care of her.
Okay?
Ive never taken care of anything as I have this vette.
Not even myself.
It absolutely kills me to sell it, but it has to go.
Here's what you're getting...
1987 Chevy Corvette, 4-Speed Manual
90-95% of everything works.
Meticulously maintained, mechanically sound (I'd drive it across the country right now with zero doubt it'd make it smooth and easy)
Highly-sough-after Nash 4-Speed Manual Transmission $2700
Upgraded intake $500
Upgraded coil and wires $750
Upgraded rims and tires (60% tread) $1,200
Targa top (like having a hard top and a convertible at the same time) $1,000
No oil leaks or any issues whatsoever.
More I'm forgetting...
Now, she has some imperfections (like any good woman).
The rims have pitting and are far from perfect (they were definitely on another car before the vette, as the vette has not seen snow), but that didn't really matter much to me.
Unfortunately, over the winter some very selfish mice decided to chew into the seats (see pics). I planned to just put seat covers over it, but feel free to have them repaired(probably an easy fix).
I've taken such good care of her and have put so much money into her, it's dumb to sell.
But, it was the wife or her.
She's like a good old rifle that just got a thorough clean and rebuild and is ready for another 20+ years of service.
They don't make cars like this anymore. You know that.
Winner takes it.
Which are you, a smart vette buyer? Or a not-so-smart one?
You wanna win?
