1982 Chevrolet C-10 Description

Up for auction is my 1982 C10 1/2 ton 2 wheel drive short bed pick up.
This truck was completely restored in 2016 with complete body tear down and refinishing in Spies hecker base-coat/clear-coat in Viper red. All the old paint and bodywork on the outer panels was stripped and redone, the bare steel was then epoxy primered prior to any body work. The panels were all professionally straightened and block sanded and fill primed with urethane primer. Paint has its share of chips and scratches here and there as this truck is driven regularly.
The engine is a vortec 350 (not LS) out of a 2002 Chevy van, the old spider injection was removed and a Street Demon 600 carburetor was installed which provides about 15 MPG and plenty of power, rated at 255 HP with spider injection so possibly more with the carb.The exhaust system includes ceramic coated headers and full length pipes with performance mufflers which are pretty quiet until you get on it.
Transmission is a recently rebuilt 700R4 with shift kit and B&M governor with new stock lock up converter.
Suspension has been rebuilt with Energy suspension bushings and new ball joints and tie rod ends.Front suspension has been lowered 5 inches using front drop spindles and flip kit in the rear.
This truck has 4wheel disc brakes and stops like a Porsche.
Wheels and tires are 15x8 up front and 15x10 out back, tires are at about 80% and have lots of life left.
