1965 Chevrolet Nova Description

65 Chevy II Nova Hardtop Restomod

A lot of work has gone intorestoring and updating this car. Restoration was complete in 2015 and only driven 593 miles since. I am selling to make room for other projects. It is very nice and everything on it has been restored, rechromed, polished painted or replace but is not perfect. The rust was cut out and replaced with new metal or panels replaced with aftermarket or clean old stock parts. I am trying to be transparent, if you have questions please ask. -Bucket seats in front/bench in back stock frames with new foam/covers. New lapbelts in the front and added to the back.

-Engine- Chevy 5.3 LSX Fuel Injected conversion (LS1 Intake, LS2 valve springs to handle the Comp Cam 54-424-11 212int/218exh 558/563 lift, new Camaro accessory drive and a tune) Cold air intake with Spectre air filter

The engine was rebuilt with all new bearings, rings and seals, Lokar pedal/cables.The reworked wire harness, TCI clip and smoothed fire wall make thee bay very clean.

-Churchboys LS radiator and electricfans

-Stainless headers from Churchboys Racing, 2.5" exhaust with an X pipe and Magnaflow exhaust

-Transmission- 5 speed manual Kiesler RS-400 w/ American Powertrain hydraulic clutch and aluminum reserve tank

-Fuel system is from Tanks-Inc and an EFI in tank fuel pump

-Color- B17 Daytona Blue Metallic. Painted with PPG DBC basecoat and SPI Clearcoat. There are some imperfections in the paint like chips that have been fixed. Overall it is nice.

-Wheels 17" Billet Specialtiessplit spokes (17x8” front, 17/9.5” rear wheel wells were mini-tubbed to fit)

-BF Goodrich G-Force Sport tires255/40 in rear 235/45 in front

-TCI Mustang II front suspension with 2" drop spindles, tubular control arms, power disk brake kit with TCI booster, power rack and pinion steering and sway bar

-I-did-it steering column and GMsteering wheel

-Rear- 10 Bolt with Auburn Gear Posi and CPP disk brake kit w/ parking brake

-Global West 1.25" drop leafsprings in the rear (multi-leaf)

-Vintage Air gen IV Air Conditioning/Heat unit. All the lines are hidden under the fender and can be seen in the engine compartment pics.

-Retrosound Stereo headunit that has blutooth, other lines in for your cell phone and digital display (6.5” Custom AutoSound Kick Panels and 6x9s hidden under the package tray with speaker cloth and an Infiniti basslink in the trunk w the gain controller under the dash) fatmat sound deadener covers the entire floor and inside the roof

-Dakota Digital VHX Dash Cluster w/blue highlights

-New American Autowire wire harness

-Modern Camaro wiper motor with delays, slow and hi speeds that are controlled with a stock looking knob.

-Vinyl wrapped panels w Chevy ii emblems in trunk that hide the battery and subwoofer

-Newsteel: The quarter panels, floor pan and hood have been replaced w new steel, the fenders and tail panel are off a California car. The firewall was patched and smoothed by welding in new metal.
