1961 Corvette – Cruiser Condition
Purchased in 1969 in Colorado Springs and been here since. Low humidity, no rust to speak of.
Lots of memories through the child rearing years. Now too old to enjoy and just taking up space. Time for someone else.

283 cu-in single WCFB Carburetor, 3-speed Manual Transmission, 3:30 Rear End
White Exterior, Red Upholstery.
Hardtop with Tonneau Cover – no convertible top.
Phase I
Added 1961 Fuel Injection; converted to 301 cu-in; T10 4-spd with Hurst Shifter.
Replaced generator with alternator.
Phase II
Forest Green body paint with Black Upholstery and FI emblems
Added Convertible Top.
Replaced original tube Wonder Bar radio with transistor AM-FM radio.
Replaced tachometer with 8000 rpm electronic. Replaced clock with electronic.
Phase III – Snaps your head back!
350 cu-in engine, Victor Jr. Intake, Edelbrock Performer Aluminum Heads – 2.02 Intakes with slant peanut plugs, performance exhaust manifolds & x-over pipe, Holley 650 cfm mechanical Dbl-pumper carb.
Mallory magnetic pickup distributor. Fuel pressure regulator.
Copper radiator.
4:11 Posi traction rear end.
Centerforce Performance clutch. It takes practice to drive.
Fuel Injection too small to handle 350 cu-in flow.
Sat in garage with occasional jaunts to shows and Cruising The Ave around town for 15 years.
Quarterly starts and warmups.
October 2019 Brakes rebuilt - new master cylinder, hoses, shoes, parking brake cables.
Recommendation – It is time for new tires. 20 years is a long time and very slow leaks.
