Im selling a 1969 C/20 396 original truck. I will describe things in the best detail I can and answer any question your have. This truck was a farm truck and a barn find. The repairs that have been made were to enhance reliability and restore to like new condition for 1969. This truck drives great. Engine has plenty of power and transmission shifts smooth through its manual gearbox. Truck has less than 38000 miles. Verified by farmer's son who took possession of truck once the father passed. The truck is solid for its year and being in a western barn for many years. Everything works as it should except windshield washer (see notes below).I have done a lot of the repair work that was necessary. What you will need:replace bed (not necessary IMO) or do body work to make ripple freeclean up, paint frameinstall supplied rockers and cab corners. slight pin-holing, but I am very thorough with my car restorations so I would change them. Most people would Bondo.prime; paint bodyinstall all supplied partsclean up and paint mirrors, replace mirror glasspurchase new glass. This truck has original glass and has hazing / rock chip.Could use a set of nice whitewalls. Currently has radials with some tread left.Once restoration is completed, the truck could easily be sold for $35000 plus. Very hard to find a CST/20 with original pre smog 396, 4 bolt main 4bbl carb. One sold in my area on 8/22/2019 for $38,000 completely restored.
