The popular Corvette C3 model was produced from 1968 through 1982. This beautiful 1982 Corvette is a matching numbers vehicle, with less that 13,700 miles on the odometer. It is a time-capsule 'Vette – 2 owners and always garaged & covered. The current owner has been the caretaker for the last 36 years. Its Red finish is in excellent condition, panel fit is essentially perfect (for a Corvette) and the fiberglass shows no sign of 'webbing'. A pair of smoked glass t-tops (option code CC1) are also in excellent condition and the original Charcoal leather interior is virtually new. Seat covers, seat bolsters, carpeting, dash-pad and tilt leather steering wheel are all well presented. All gauges (including the clock) are in working order and the tinted window glass is excellent. Horsepower is provided by the original 350ci small block rated at 200HP w/factory Cross-Fire injection and is backed by a 4-speed OD automatic. (A manual transmission was not available in model year 1982.) The exhaust system is stock and the published limited-slip axle ratio is 2.87:1.
