Show winner classic Corvette vintage ZZ crate motor
1976 Chevrolet Corvette -- Description
This 1976 Chevrolet Corvette shines brighter, growls meaner, and is updated with some of the best from multiple generations. So while the powerful crate motor with dual-quads on top and the five-speed manual are what make you love the performance of this Stingray, you need to look at all the details that make it an award-worthy custom machine.
The first thing that you are going to notice is how this one radiates in the sunshine. You could get a white Stingray in '76, but it was nothing like this. This a modern pearlescent color borrowed from a modern Cadillac Escalade. And they made sure the panels were looking as good as Caddy before they let the first drop of its paint down. This sets the premium and upgraded tone you'll continue to see throughout the whole car. There're some nice upgrades in style, like the new brightwork window trim and the rear luggage rack also can hold the T-tops. There are some nice C3-style upgrades, like the polished alloys and the aggressive body kit with well-integrated spoiler. Plus, there are details that add even more aggression to this sleek C3's profile. After all, they side pipes never looked as wicked as they do here, and the extra 4-inch rise in the hood lets you know there's something special underneath.
Tan interiors look quite nice against white exteriors, but this one turns it up a notch even higher. It starts with an upgrade to C5 Corvette-style leather bucket seats. The two-tone tan package here is repeated in places like the carpeting and 1976-exclusive steering wheel for a very uniform total presentation. This has been upgrade with plenty of luxury features, like an AM/FM/cassette/CD stereo, cup holders, and power windows. And not only can you take the T-tops out, but also the they upgraded this one so you can remove the rear window, just like earlier C3s.
Under the hood is an award-worthy motor. You we dare you to find another component that can be polished in this mirror-like engine bay. And not only is this shining, right down to the radiator fans, but also all the wiring was hidden to make this one absolutely amazing. In fact, you're looking at a coupe that's meant so much as a show car that there are no headlights. The undercarriage photos show just how much of an expo car this one really is. This has an ultra-clean presentation with hints of red and chrome to really make the performance pieces pop when you put a mirror under this one. But as much as it was made to looking stunning when parked, you can also really enjoy this one on the road. The V8 is performance crate 350 cubic-inch unit that's been enhanced further with dual Edelbrock four-barrel carburetors, an Edelbrock RPM air gap intake, and Hooker headers feeding those growling side pipes. Plus, this has great supporting components, like the March serpentine pulley system and an aluminum radiator. And you have full control over the big power and thunderous soundtrack with the five-speed manual transmission. Plus, power steering, a fully independent sports suspension, and four-wheel power disc brakes complete a package that makes this show car also a terrific handler.
This one has already earned a ton of accolades, including 15 best-in-class awards. We'll go over all of them with you and the rest of the details on this awesome one-of-a-kind. Call today!!!
