1949 Chevrolet Other Pickups Description

Up for no reserve auction is a 1949 Chevrolet 3800, with what I believe was a factory 9 foot bed. This is a nice, solid project that comes with a good clean transferable title! There is minimal typical rust in the kick panels, passenger floorboard, and drivers cab corner on the very right edge of the cab, (don't think the whole corner will need replaced.) The original engine and transmission where removed after the water pump went out and it was filled with water and cracked. The original box was pulled off many years ago, and a homemade flatbed was put on the pickup. The lower outside cowls, and doors, and passenger cab corner are very solid. I have owned eight of these pickups, and this one is probably the most solid.
