1969 Chevrolet Camaro
I have owned this car for almost 40 years! It has not been registered since 1990 and has been in heated storage with occasional romps out in the streets.It was originally a red / white vinyl topped RS, 350 automatic with a/c. In it's first rebuild it was candy apple blue - it was rebuilt into this configuration in the mid eighties. I built it to be the ultimate street racer! ( Long before the extremes of Street Outlaws) Many other projects, cars and family put this on the back burner, but never for sale. I was lucky to have enough room where this could sit in my heated workshop. I have downsized and no longer have the space to keep my favorite toy anymore!
This car leaves hard and straight and was built with no shortcuts. The interior aluminum work, cage and engine work was done by the Bauer Bros at C&F Race Cars, at that time in Mt. Vernon NY. Everything was new at the time it went into storage.It was run at Cecil County back in late '97 - two mild runs with a 5000 rpm chip, with a 10.99 at 122.54 mph best. The car is not cut up, all wiring is complete and unbutchered. The only things missing are heater and windshield wipers. The engine and trans are from a '67 Corvette, a complete L 71, 427/435. I have videos of this car running and driving and hundreds of other pictures. This car comes with the original doors and a new NOS GM cowl hood. (located in Suffolk NY)I have the transferrable New York registration for this vehicle. (NY was not a title state before 1973)
