For sale 1968 L-89 convertible . If you like C3 Corvettes it doesn’t get much better than this beautiful British Green Corvette. With so much uncertainty in the stock market, now is a great time to invest in something with great upside potential due to its rarity and also be an investment that you can drive and enjoy. Documented with the tank sticke, this car came equipped with the 427/435 hp tri-power engine with the L-89 optioned heads. The very low serial number means it was built in the first month of production and is one of the first, if not the first L-89 built. It is one of only 624 Corvettes built with this high horsepower engine that year and only a small number were convertibles. It is unknown how many documented examples exist today. Additional options from the factory include AM/FM radio, Tinted glass, power breaks, Convertible top, and all other necessary features for the L-89 package. This rare Corvette has had a frame off restoration with all components rebuilt or replaced. Numbers matching NOM engine is correctly numbered and dated including casting date. All other major components have proper casting dates and stamps. This car would be a very special addition to anyone’s collection and would be an excellent candidate for a NCRS completion.
