1970 Chevrolet Chevelle Super Sport Description

Up for sale is a true 1970 Chevelle Super Sport 396 Barn find. I pulled this from a barn where it has been sitting since 1989 where the previous owner had started to restore this car for a fresh paint job. At that time he went to the local Chevrolet dealer and purchased both rear full quarter panels, both rocker panels, and a Front drivers side fender. All of course Real NOS GM parts. He installed both full quarter panels and both rocker panels and stored the fender in the attic. He pulled the 396 engine and had it completely rebuilt by Jegs and then reinstalled it. The car sat ever since then. The windshield area is super nice and even still has the factory studs that hold the clips for the windshield trim. There are some rust holes around the rear window area but easily repairable. The floors look very very clean with the exception of a hole on the drivers side where your foot would rest while on the gas pedal. The trunk has 2 holes on the drivers side. A drivers side trunk repair panel would fix both holes. Other than that the rest of the trunk is solid. Both front fenders have some rust in the lower bottom corners but are worth repairing. I do have a NOS GM drivers fender for the car also As the trim tag on the cowl shows this car is originally fathom blue with white stripes and white bucket seat interior. The seats have been recovered to black and so has the door panels. This car even has the original correct GM chrome exhaust tips on it. The car still has the factory cowl induction actuator switch and wiring mounted on the gas pedal just like it came from the factory. There are 5 correct original 1970 only AO code SS wheels. 4 of them still have the old school Kelly Super Charger tires on them. Car has the original complete cowl induction air cleaner with gasket. Even the original SS emblems are very nice and with some cleaning can be show ready.Options on this car includeFactory front disc brakesF-41 suspension.
