From its straight panels to its painted stripes, hich are buried under a thick layer of clear, he car's rock-solid metal displays craftsmanship that's nothing short of immaculate. Not surprisingly, very seam on this Main Street king has been aligned to better-than-factory fit. When you step close to the car's mirror-like paint, ou'll find flat surfaces that are a product of years of low mileage and generations of great care. And ultimately, t all adds up to one very impressive classic that looks right at home reflecting summertime car shows!

With balanced proportions and crisp detailing, he first generation Camaro is an inherently good-looking design. At the front of this coupe, "Z/28" branded grille hangs standard headlights above a fresh bumper, lear parking lamps and a requisite D80 chin spoiler. At the top of that grille, Camaro-branded header leads the eye to a ZL-2 cowl induction hood, atin-finish wipers and new glass that's framed in straight stainless and polished drip rails. Below that hood, he car's smooth profile centers chrome door handles and a correct mirror between small marker lamps, imple ornamentation and black-trimmed rocker guards. And at the back of that profile, orrect taillights illuminate a D80 deck spoiler, second chrome bumper, fourth "Z/28" emblem and polished exhaust tips.

ENGINE

Hoist this Chevy's hydraulic hood and you'll find a 454 cubic inch, 20 horsepower GM Performance Parts LSX 454 that's wedged inside a clean, rofessionally detailed engine bay. Straight from the General this exclusive package utilizes a tough iron block, forged 4340 crank, orged 4340 rods, orged aluminum pistons and a hydraulic roller cam to turn stout 11 to 1 compression into unmatched throttle response! At the top of the mill, K&N X-Stream air cleaner twists wind through a large Holley carburetor, hich is fitted a small regulator and braided fluid lines. Under that carb, coated LSX-LS7 intake rides between aluminum LSX-LS7 heads that are capped by painted "LSX 454" valve covers. Below those covers, ivid, hevy Orange paint is framed by tied Taylor plug wires and beefy Stainless Works headers. At the front of those headers, polished serpentine system spins a polished alternator, polished AC compressor and a modern power steering pump at the edges of a high quality, luminum water pump. And in front of that pump, polished Be Cool radiator cycles coolant around big puller fans via fabricated water tubes. Virtually every facet of this Camaro's fresh engine bay has been taken from a 10 to an 11. And even the small details, ike billet hood hinges, Moroso breather, otchkis fender braces, machined block-off plate and trick dipsticks, re all well planned and well executed.

DRIVETRAIN/SUSPENSION

That ferocious big block twists torque through a programmable 4L80E 4-speed to a tough 12-bolt axle. That transmission, ourced from GM Performance Parts, ides behind a fully rebuilt front clip that's equipped with Flaming River power rack-and-pinion steering and tubular Global West control arms. The car's LPW-branded pumpkin hangs between traditional leaf springs and quality QA1 shocks. That first-class suspension sits inside stalwart Wilwood calipers, hich utilize a Wilwood master cylinder and CPP hydraulics to squeeze four vented rotors. Exhaust flows from the aforementioned headers in to large-diameter pipes, hich position an X-shaped crossover in front of rowdy Flowmaster mufflers. Power meets the pavement through chrome American Racing Torq Thrust IIs, hich spin 225/60R15 BF Goodrich Radial T/As in front of 255/60R15 Mickey Thompson ET Street Radials. And the car's clean, ndercoated floors feature top-notch finishing components like a Holley oil pan, resh stainless fluid lines and welded sub-frame connectors.

INTERIOR

Open this Camaro's solid-closing doors and you'll find a mildly customized interior that wraps a nice blend of classic style and modern convenience around a pair of SCAT PROCAR seats. In front of those buckets, modified dash hangs Auto Meter Pro-Comp Ultra-Lite gauges and controls for the car's Vintage Air climate system behind a sculpted instrument panel. At the base of that dash, traditional F1 console frames a factory horseshoe shifter. Below that console, igh quality floor mats protect like-new carpet. At the edges of that carpet, tandard Camaro door panels center small armrests in pristine stainless hardware. In front of the driver, tilting steering column spins a thick-rimmed wheel around satin-finished spokes. Behind the passengers, matted trunk conceals a billet-framed Optima gel cell battery.
