1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS Description

We are proud to show case this beautifully finished resto-mod 1967 Camaro. The car has quite a long list of modifications to bring it from the 60's, to modern day tech and performance. It currently has ~100mi on the engine build and 3500 on the rest of the resto. Lets get to the details below as I outline the build from top to bottom.

Starting with the most interesting part of any restoration, the engine! This beast is powered by an 6.2L V8 LS3 out of a 2008 Corvette. It has a Brian Tooley Racing (BTR) cam, stage 2 LS7 lifters, hardened pushrods, BTR .660 springs and titanium retainers. All hardware is brand new, stainless nuts and bolts. Lastly, the icing on the cake (no pun intended) is the LSA supercharger out of a Cadillac CTS-V with a reinforced intercooler brick. Fuel is supplied by an AEM 340lph in tank pump with a -6 feed line (return-less system). It is currently only tuned for 91/93 Octane. Only a larger pump, injector, and flex fuel sensor would be needed to convert this car to Flex Fuel. The expected power output would be ~620whp and 575Wtq.

Next down the line, we have a Liberty Gears TKO600, manual 5 speed with .62:1 overdrive transmission. Quicktime SFI steel bell housing, a McLeod RST twin disc clutch, Tilton hydraulic throw out bearing, MDL Hydraulic conversion. This combination provides a perfect cruising rpm with quick crisp gear changes.

Aside from the beautiful blower noises... we have the thunderous exhaust note. It consists of ceramic coated 1 3/4" long tube Hooker headers, an H-pipe and finally, dual 2.5” stainless exhaust mufflers.

In the electronics department, we have some really trick technology running this machine. It has Vintage-Air Gen V A/C and heat, Dakota digital dash with Holley Integration module to display info from engine on attached monitor screen. Lastly, we have a Holley Terminator X EFI system. The car also has an extremely well put together sound system which absolutely pounds and has very good clarity at high volume. I can get the specs of it soon.

The suspension on this Camaro is as equally impressive as the rest of the car. Assassin bars, Afco big gun double adjustable rear shocks, Afco adjustable front shocks, BMR control arms in the front and Trick springs.

This resto-mod was recently just completed at Eurocharged Minneapolis and dyno tuned by CJTunes to a result of 550whp and 500wtq. Video of the dyno pulls can be sent to serious interested parties. There is probably a lot more I am missing but if there any questions regarding the build, feel free to inquire. The tech who build this car can easily give the complete answers and it only a phone call away.
