1964 Chevrolet Impala SS Description

1964 CHEVY IMPALA SS NUMBER MATCHING 327 M20 MUNCIE 4 SPEED NICE ORIGINAL CAR. Condition is used. Please see last two pictures of the few tiny spots of rust. No rust holes that I have found! Some minor surface rust in the trunk-see pictures. Runs, drives, stops great! The steering needs some work. Car has narrow bias tires that don't help with the way it steers. Steering has some slop and does need work.Very nice interior with factory 4 speed console with original shifter and factory tachometer on the steering column.I thought I would have this SS forever...but I got injured at work and just can't drive a stick shift anymore with an artificial ankle and a plate with screws in my leg. The last few years I've barely driven it. It will have a fresh oil change (Mobile 1 is all I've used) before it leaves.Car is LOUD with short glass packs. Not exhaust leaks!Car has power steering and under dash Air Conditioning that is cold.Car has had the very bottom of the trunk replaced, small dings, scratches. Paint is older but still shines. This Impala has some small bubbles in the paint here and there. Ask for pictures.

.

Block - T0130RB and in front of that is a number I can only see 4037 which is the last 4 numbers in the Vin. -hard too see with the AC bracket/compressor in the way.
Block - 870 is all I can see I will try to get the whole number that is way back of the engine.
Intake is 3844458 with a date of A84.
** Vin starts with 41447S like all hardtop SS **

I have some extra parts that go with it,I have the antenna.I have most of the rear cove trim NOS.I have both fender skirts that are painted same color as the car.I have a really nice grill with the headlight bezels and the chrome trim on the bottom of the grill.I have both front bumper guards that are really nice.
** I bought the car out of Lompoc, California.

The SS according to the trim tag was originally Lagoon Aqua with a white roof. The previous owner said the car was repainted in the late 1990's, they repainted it all Lagoon Aqua.

The radio isn't hooked up so I don't know if it works. The radiator is four core/rows.Has a NEW fuel pump.Has a NEW thermostat/coolant.Car really needs too be driven-been sitting too long.Could use new carpet. The choke seems to be sticking. Used to work fine before sitting.Could be a great car with a little work and a good detail !

** Impala has an Electronic Ignition **

Driver side rear armrest has a bad spot - see pictures

** just tried to get some underside of car pictures if anyone would like me to email them. They are not great thanks to no lift to get under car for pics. I also got pictures of the trim tag if anyone wants them. While laying on the ground to take the pics I did notice a few more tiny bubbles in the paint. There are no holes-not even one you could stick a toothpick in! These are real tiny bumps/bubbles and only a few.

THIS IMPALA HAS SOME SMALL BUBBLES IN THE PAINT HERE AND THERE!I KNOW THIS CAR IS NOT PERFECT. IT NEEDS WORK FROM SITTING AND A GOOD DETAILOR REPAINT.THANK YOU, MIKE

Impala does not have A JACK OR SPARE TIRE-that's how I got it.

The number matching 327 is the 300 horsepower engine. The valve covers stickers say 350 horsepower but its not.I will include in this auction a repo lower shift boot (4 speed) and a NOS upper shift boot (4 speed)
