I have a large file of receipts/manuals/photos/time slips showing the history of this amazing hot rod since I bought in in 1989.
Things that need attention:
Currently running a bit rich- carb needs adjusting- not my specialty. My plan down the road was to replace with one of these new plug n' play closed loop fuel injection system. Some small paint cracks have developed- from paint prep, not from use, abuse or road damage. All on driver front fender and hood.
Speedometer works intermittently- have changed adapter on trans but not certain what's up.
Passenger window custom glass replaced- needs adjustment to move more smoothly.
Transmission pan plug has small leak- needs attention at next trans service.
Very slow leak somewhere in air suspension system- lot of hoses/fittings. Have removed and tested air bags and eliminated as culprits. Would re-plumb with combination valves and fewer fittings if I had to do again- if desired ride height button reset occasionally it is no problem.
I have owned this car for 30 years this November. Bought stock with inline 6 and 3 on the tree. Have built it a couple times but most of the work and all body/paint on this version was pro built and I have receipts to prove it. Ready for your interior. Painted May 2006, taken exquisite care of but there are a few small cracks on front fender/hood that are due to paint prep problems. Paint is immaculate otherwise due to EXTREMELY low miles/use. Kept covered in garage 99% of the time. I have other projects and wish to pass this along and gain my garage back, as I rarely drive it.
I am selling and pricing this car as an incomplete project- as in, you can drive it as is, like I have with pleasure for about 15 years, or add your interior. I am sure I have forgotten many things, as building and enjoying this car as a major part of my life for many years. I have nothing to hide and will happily answer any and all questions you might have. Please do not contact me in order to try to knock price down based on 'what abouts?'!
