THEY ONLY COME ORIGINAL LIKE THIS ONCE IN A LIFETIME. Any serious Original Chevy Collector, this is a TRUE CAR RARE EQUIPPED WAGON! This '62BELAIRWAGON has been sitting for many -many years inside in storage, after being used daily on the local world famous Peach OrchardFarm at the original owners home. (Thus the Very low mileage,used only on the local farm.) The original owner was from (Palisade) Grand Junction, Colorado where the car was purchased new in 1962 at Central Chevrolet Grand Junction, Colorado.

The car is a true low mileage western dry, solid rust free classic. So after sitting covered since 1970'sthe ownerdecided its time to let this one go aftersitting around too long after retiring the car into storage.Never in any accidents, super straight all original sheet metal throughout. Frame is perfect. Under-carriage is showing original brown oxide original paint in many spots & still is 100% super solid and all rust free. For a Wagon to have this underside it is very Rare!

Original Drivetrain,This Rare BelAir is equipped from the factory with the Chevrolet Strong Special Order 327H.O. 300H.P. Automatic with Factory in-Dash A/C, (Double Hump Heads), alloriginal GM motorcoupled to the Powerglide Automatic Transmission! Runs and drives great, starts up smooth every time! THE 327 ENGINE AND Powerglide TRANSMISSION HAVE BOTH BEEN COMPLETLY REBUILT WITH RECEIPTS SAVED! POWER STEERING AND POWER BRAKES!

NOTE: COMES WITH ORIGNAL GM 4 BARREL CARB AND ORIGNAL GM AC AIR CLEANER.

The Pot Metal and Chrome and Stainless Trim: is all original and in great condition. Main Chrome Bumpers are very nice and great driver quality, with no rust. The pot metal script & emblems are beautiful driver quality. The nose plastic emblemis anew original. All sheet metal on the car isSUPER nice and rust free and Original to the car from the GM Factory. The doors, hood, fenders, drip rails, rockers, inner and outer, tailgate area and all floors, braces, are all 100% solid and rust free from the factory. Due to the very low mileage.

Exterior Paint & Interior The Factory Exterior paint is Anniversary Gold Metalicand is verynicely applied showing nice gloss and very few imperfections. It rates a 7.2 out of 10and new in 2011. The Original Interior is awesome and very well preserved. Door Panels are all original and the seats have had a repair or two but incredible condition and all showing original NOS Patterns and Materials with the rare gold weave threads. All paint inside is still very niceon side panels door side capsand maindash. Floor carpetsare new with original Pepper weave colors. Headliner isbeautiful, one visor needs a new mounting bracket,are both visors are very good. Rubber Brake Pedal show only slight wear and match the low mileage! Seats are firm and strong no rips or splits, seat rolls easy front to back positions, rear cargo area is all great and the rear seat folds up and down nicely. The side covers and paint are very nice and all original as shown.

TheFactory GLASS: All the glass is all date coded original lof ez-eye tinted GM Glass. All the Glass is beautiful with one exception to the front windshield has a light wiper scar that might be buffed out with a high speed buff? This original windshield nice with only one very small crack at base corner never causeing a issue and is almost unseen. (see close up) It is Original LOF so it has been left in place. All rubber and fuzzies and weather stripping, is all fantastic or new. All windows operate like new and open close easy, including the rear tailgate window for folding and lock positions.

Operational Functions:Doors, windows, electrical, vents, handles, knob locks, key locks fordoors &trunk, all operate like NEW. Radio, Heater, Wipers, all operational as noted and tested. Fuse panel is also clean. Starts with a touchof the key and a pump of the pedal. Drives Nice. A fun Car no matter how you look at it.
