1967 Chevrolet C-10 Description

Roll into the next cruise night with this 1967 Chevrolet C10 pickup, and they might just hand you the big trophy before you even shut the engine off. Beautifully built to be driven and depended on regularly, this stylish pickup has all the right ingredients for a serious street machine, and it doesn't matter if you prefer driving or showing, it does it all equally well. Strong motor? Check. Killer looks? Double check. Great options? You betcha. This C-10 is ready to roll.
Few trucks are as good-looking as Chevy's C10 "Action Line" models from the mid-60s to the mid-70s. This one, with its lowered and raked stance and sleek two-tone paint almost looks like the muscle car of trucks, with a predatory crouch and a ton of eyeball appeal. Of course, the dazzling Spectramaster Green paint doesn't hurt, along with the contrasting white paint on the top and bottom, and professional bodywork to make it all look its best. A lot of prep went into this truck before the paint went on, with great gaps and smooth surfaces that show undistorted reflections, a hallmark of quality workmanship and a big investment of time. It's not a perfect trailer queen, as there are some imperfections here and there, but this truck was built to be driven and enjoyed, not put away for inspection only. The emblems, grille, door handles, and other add-ons were retained, so its identity remains strong yet it looks very custom at a glance. All the bright chrome trim survived the makeover as well, including the stainless side trim that accentuates the chrome and fender arches, and makes the two-tone paint possible. The white roof and grille are nods to tradition, as is the tailgate with big block letters spelling out CHEVROLET six inches high. The bed is beautifully finished with lightly stained wood and paint-matched slats, but it's still very durable so this is a truck that can still do a little work around the house, making it a great choice if you can have only one toy.
While the exterior says muscle, the interior says comfort. A splint bench seat borrowed from a modern truck offers lots of support and a drop-down center armrest anchor a luxurious-looking cab that's a long way from 1967. Finely tailored and expertly trimmed to modern OEM standards, the interior is a slam-dunk in the styling department and with the middle jump seat, practical as well. The original instrument panel is full of handsome restored gauges with clear lenses, and the three-spoke steering wheel on the tilt column would look at home in a Camaro, let alone a C-10. Custom door panels embossed with Bowties were created to match the upholstery, so the truck has a very polished, high-quality feel, and it's fitted with cold A/C that's fully operational thanks to an R134a refrigerant upgrade. Entertainment is provided via an AM/FM/CD stereo just above the original location and it includes USB adapters for your modern devices.
In the horsepower department, this C10 is rocking a 366 cubic inch Chevy V8 "tall-deck" big block motor rated at 235 horses, and it comes complete with an Edelbrock 4-barrel carb and intake up top. Rebuilt approximately 15k miles ago, there's plenty of dress-u parts, from the valve covers to the open-element air cleaner, and the block itself was painted Chevy orange to really pop out from the black valve covers. A set of aftermarket long-tube headers control heat and have been installed tight up against the block and there's a big radiator up front to keep it the whole show nice and cool. The great-running tall-block runs great, with endless reserves of torque on tap at any speed and the custom Flowmaster dual exhaust system sounds awesome exhaling through a pair of tips tucked under the rear bumper. It's backed by a TH350 3-speed automatic transmission feeding a stout 12-bolt rear hanging on the heavy-duty coil spring suspension, and power steering and power front disc brakes ensure a great driving experience every time out. That lowered and raked stance is exactly right, hunkered down on those gorgeous 5-spoke wheels wrapped in Kumho performance radials all around.
Fast, fun, and stylish, this truck offers an incredible look and heavy-duty hardware for a very reasonable price. Call today!
