Following up on the totally restyled 1963 Corvette Sting Ray, the lightly updated 1964 models maintained Corvettes growing sales momentum with production rising by 1,016 units. The most recent owner purchased the Corvette during October 2014 and during his tenure, the vehicle was well maintained, confirmed by service records on file. Among the work performed, the front drum brakes were converted to discs and the working factory air conditioning was updated to modern R134 specification as well. In 2017 a set of four new steel-belted radial tires were fitted. In addition the seats were rebuilt and fitted with new leather covers.
