1965 Corvair Monza Convertible. Original Color is Evening Orchid NO RESERVE
1965 Chevrolet Corvair Monza Description
1965 Chevrolet Corvair Monza Convertible. The original color is Evening Orchid. I am a Chevelle enthusiast, so my Corvair knowledge is limited. It seems to have the Desert Air Package. The door pillars around the door hinges are rust free and solid. The lower rocker panels looks solid too. There are some rust bubbles below the lower windshield in a few places, not too bad. The trunk area looks good. I have connected jumper cables to it and it tries to start with no unusual noises, but it will not fire. I expect with new plugs, wires and a general tune-up it would start. The front floor pans are solid along with the rear floor pans. There is a rust hole about the size of a quarter below the rear passenger seat. The body is straight. If you want to see more pictures, please send me an email. I can also email you a video (for sound purposes) of the motor cranking.
Cars HistoryI bought this car from a coworker who parked it in her garage in 2003. She said it was smoking but was running OK. It has been in her family since early the 1970s. She had plans one day to get it back on the road. She finally decided to sell it because she needed the garage space and I think she realized she would never get around to getting it back on the road. I have a clear title in my name.
